About Me

I’m an ecologist with a PhD in Sustainability from the University of Surrey, specializing in landscape-scale biodiversity and nature-based solutions.
My work at LUC (Land Use Consultants) and for various government entities has centred on delivering measurable Biodiversity Net Gain strategies, conducting spatial analysis, and developing policy recommendations.
This blends academic rigor and real-world consulting: I’ve published peer-reviewed papers on BNG and ecosystem services, while also managing biodiversity action plans for local authorities.
Before consulting, I served as a Biodiversity Officer for the Bracknell Forest Council, where I oversaw biodiversity planning, habitat management, and public engagement. Through my interdisciplinary PhD, I honed the skills to design robust environmental assessments, coordinate multi-stakeholder workshops, and translate academic research into on-the-ground impact.
I’m passionate about driving evidence-based policy and helping communities and developers align with nature recovery goals.
